Abstract

In April 2019 the International Society for Peritoneal Dialysis published in open access its latest recommendations for creating and maintaining an optimal peritoneal access in adult patients. These recommendations are an important guide for medical, nursing and surgical teams in all countries. In order to ensure the best possible dissemination among French -speaking professionals who feel more comfortable with a text in their mother language tongue, the French Language Peritoneal Dialysis Registry has ensured the translation of this text to make it available in its Bulletin.

For any reference in a publication, it is essential that the original text only should be quoted:
