About Mathieu Rousseau
Dr Mathieu Rousseau-Gagnon completed his MD (2008) followed by his Nephrology fellowship (2013) at Laval University (Quebec, Canada). He continued his studies by enrolling in a 2-year clinical and research fellowship at University of Toronto (2015). He also completed graduate Master studies in Health Practitioner Teacher Education at Univeristy of Toronto (2015). He is practicing since 2015 at CHU de Québec – Université Laval and CISSS de Chaudière-Appalaches as a nephrologist.
Dr Gagnon is also program director in Nephrology at Laval University. He designed and founded the Home Dialysis Fellowship at Laval University, the first French-speaking home dialysis fellowship program in the world in 2017.
Dr Gagnon is the actual president of the Quebec Table on Home Dialysis and participates in various scientific committees, clinical research projects and is often requested as a speaker during meetings.
