About Natalia Target

Dr. Natalia Target is a nephrologist who graduated from the University of Córdoba, Argentina. She specialized in internal medicine there and then obtained a specialization in nephrology from Claude Bernard Lyon 1 University in France.

Dr. Target has been actively involved in developing home dialysis, especially during her time as department head at CHD La Roche-sur-Yon. There, she played a significant role in peritoneal dialysis and home hemodialysis.

Since 2012, she has contributed to the RDPLF database and has been involved in developing the Bulletin de la Dialyse à Domicile (Home Dialysis Bulletin), serving as a regular author and reviewer since its creation in 2018.

She is a member of the Dialysis and Epidemiology Working Group of the Société Francophone de Néphrologie, Dialyse et Transplantation (SFNDT).

She is also the vice president of PRODIADOM ("Promoting Home Dialysis"; https://www.prodiadom.org), whose mission is to improve and facilitate the implementation of home care for dialysis patients, as well as provide them with greater independence and freedom.
