Economic approach to dayly home hemodialysis in France

The ever-increasing health care needs of the population is an even greater reality when it comes to the care of patients with chronic diseases. INSEE [1] clearly highlights the difficulties to which the French health system will be subject if a reflection on the funding methods but also on the structure of the care offer is not carried out as soon as possible.
In this context of necessary evolution of the system, it seems important that the actors on the ground can also bring objective elements allowing to feed a collective reflection.
This note concerns the management of patients with chronic kidney disease. It aims to provide information from the expertise of professionals in the sector intended to objectify a few proposals detailed in its last part.
